About

Hi, my name is Jeff LeBlanc and I currently work as a Senior Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) Infrastructure Administrator in Toronto, Canada. In this blog I will share tips and tricks for my own use and for everyone else on MECM/SCCM and Windows.

I bought my first computer for $1100 when I was 11yrs old in 1984 from money I saved up from my paper route. It was a Commodore 64 with a 300 baud pocket modem that I used to connect to BBS’s and download games and play some text based games too. You could read faster than the text would appear on the screen! Still, I was hooked.

I have been working in the IT industry for over 20 years and received my Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems in 1998. Since then I have worked for a number of companies including the City of Los Angeles and Fox Sports International as a Systems Analyst/Administrator and then Microsoft where I worked my way up to Technical Lead of the SMS Support Team for Microsoft Premiere Support, WA.

After Microsoft I returned to the Toronto, Canada area and worked as a SCCM/SCOM consultant for 7 years, working with large enterprise clients and municipal governments before taking a full-time SCCM Infrastructure Administrator position with one of Canada’s top employers.

Along the way I received my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification in multiple Windows platform releases as well as CISSP certification and still love working with MECM/SCCM and related technologies managing over 140,000 devices worldwide as part of a great team.
